This deal is through the same seller, Beach Camera, just saying… I'd go the GT route all things equal because there's no sales tax.

Of course not and Why? It is now a discontinued TV. Why take the gamble it will even be in stock at Best Buy or Costco for a better price? It's already that price and I have this TV and it doesn't even fit in an SUV. When you get a TV like this delivered, you get a phone call and you get to pick your day and your delivery time window and just relax and wait for your TV to come to you. The dealer is very reputable. It's who I got mine from. I don't know the exact statistic but probably 90+ percent of TVs are ordered online now and it's not a big deal. I can tell you what is a big deal and it's this TV. If you order it now at this price, I guarantee you 100% that you will not regret it.

No, it does not come with a stand because it's not supposed to be on a stand. And only little boys put premium large TVs like this on a stand. The engineers spent the time to engineer the wall mount recessed into the back of the TV so it sits completely 100% flat against the wall and is beautiful. I've had this argument with many people and there's not a reason you could give me why you wouldn't put this on the wall other than your walls are all glass or all your rooms are round. It's time to grow up and be a big boy now. We mount them on the walls.
i would wall mount it but my living room is oddly designed for when tube tvs were a thing, no wall is long enough to mount this, one wall is all windows, the other wall is too short because it has a hallway to a garage, the wall where the tv would usually go has a hole in the wall to put a tube tv inside and a fireplace beneath. only place i could fit this is on the corner diagonally on a stand, this corner previously had a 60in. i bought this tv and im putting it on a swivel stand from amazon. please feel free to buy me a new house with a long enough living room wall so i can mount this the way it should.

Why can't you cover the hole in the wall with the tv? The hole would be perfect for all your wires and for other electronics that don't need to be visible or accessed frequently. When they need to be accessed, you can just pull the TV away from the wall. If you need a place to mount the TV because the hole is there you buy a 2 x 6 and cut it to the size of the hole and block it in by a couple two by fours And then screw the 2 x 6 to the two by fours or get some thick steel L brackets etc. putting a TV that large sideways in the corner of a room is going to eat up like 60+ft.² that is not usable from floor to ceiling fyi.

Good Lord is that a fake fireplace with no chimney? What's on the other side of that wall that it can be recessed in that far? Not trying to insult you, but I'm sure you're aware how dated the inside is. If there's truly not even a chimney behind that fireplace or anything, I would go get a demo hammer and tear out all that tile myself along with that fireplace. It wouldn't be that expensive to cover up and drywall that over you could figure out where you want the bottom of your TV and drywall the top portion of the wall and then put some cupboards underneath or something. If nobody plays the piano or does once a year ditch the piano. Just taking the stuff off the walls and taking a weekend to paint the walls in a super light soft gray with white trim around the windows would modernize and change the room completely. People ( including you ) would walk in and think they're in a different house.

its a gas fireplace, fire does come out and heat from the vents when you turn it on. id move the piano of course if it was possible to center wall mount. living room is shaped like a rectangle. tv on one corner and L shaped couch on opposite corner works well. if i somehow am able to put tv where this hole is then opposite end also will have less seats available for viewing, on L couch the shorter L of the couch can view well while everyone else will have to tilt there head a lot. i just dont see this working optimally. ive never done any kind of carpentry before would prefer a professional to make changes. end of the day drastic changes would be needed for it to work. you can add my scenario to your list of glass or round houses wont work. living room is dated design but house was built in year 2000, 24 yrs old.

GT deal is the way to go. No tax. No shipping.

Any other retailer will charge you tax. Do the math. If I go to WalMart I'm paying over $3k after tax. This TV needs to be around $2600 before tax for this to really be a deal.

I've had mine for about a month now. Awesome TV.

Thanks. I ask actually because I 'm after a smaller model I can pick up. I just don't know when it will drop in price. I have a 77" already and you are right. Incredible all around.
