Following the trend of target running discounts this week, found Sony Bravia X77L 65" inch at the local target store (Williamsville, NY) for 50% clearance. Normally priced at 689.99
At store this was not on the shelves or aisle. Had to ask the cashier to look it up and she found 1 left in the back storage of the store. No other clearance sales in main shop area.

After streaming on this newly bought TV, I noticed a slight stutter. Turns out Google TV o/s is not ready by default to stream smoothly. After it updated to latest version, I had to enable Developer mode and disable the HW Overlay (setting)
To enable developer options on Chromecast, you can:
1. Go to Settings
2. Select System
3. Go to About
4. Go to Android TV OS build
5. Press the Select button on the remote about 7 times
Then go into dev options about 3 or so pages down to turn On the disable HW Overlay.
Video Streaming channels and apps should be smooth then.
I'll test mine more later.
Also when using a game console, enable game mode on TV options for that Hdmi.
What's up with all these tvs only at 60hz. So no good for gaming
This actually handles gaming motion and clarity very well for 60z strait out of the box. Flicker free. Great response time. I havent even fine tuned the tv yet. It honestly felt like it was 120hz but its is only 60z. I was very unexpectedly happy about that. I have a hisense 55 U8H tv and LG 165hz gaming monitors for reference. Picture is very crisp. The upscaling is great. Colors pop. Very vibrant colors. Handles dark colors well. For not having a full array the panel looks great. No blooming. Sound is very loud with decent bass. I have this TV in front of a 8ft window and have no issue with the TVs brightness. Its a 2023 TV! You are not going to find a better 65" for the price.

I'm just going to assume all the clearance TVs are 60hz
