I just did a chat to get my question answered. Chat was a real person, and came on quick on a Saturday morning, btw.

Monthly promotion rate is not locked in for renewal. Agent said, "plans may change and also we can have better plans than this in future."

Also I learned that this uses Verizon network.

Thanks for that. Amazon currently has a 15% off promo on this, dropping the price to $59.50 for 6 months:

I had to file an FCC complaint just to get my number out of Lyca. Will never deal with them again.

They're the usual deprioritized mvno, but I got 300mbps from the house
what city and state are you in to get that kind of speed?

Couldn't make a go of T-Mobile home internet with close to 200mbps down when adding the work vpn.

Hmm, mine charges $4.91 tax. I guess it's different from state.
Yes I'm seeing sales tax in both Tennessee and Michigan.

Fair to say you no Lyca them anymore?

Sadly, shady business practices are now widespread in lots of companies. You have to have your guard up at all times.

They also have a 10GB plan for only $42.50 for 6 months on Amazon after the discount code. Sinec there is no way I come close to using 20GB, this is a better deal for me. Original poster should update the options. https://www.amazon.com/8-33-Month...9hdGY&th=1

Would love to know as well. Was successful with LycaMobile a few times but they are giving me a hard time right now even when I have my most frequently dialed numbers available. After I get these last 2 phone ported out from LycaMobile, I'm never going back.
Lyca is THE WORST EVER!

I got this around a month ago. Porting over was painless. The speeds are for sure throttled, but I haven't had issues with it so far. Seems like every other MVNO I have used. I am in a pretty rural area though.

The only issue I have had is getting MMS to work on Android. It still doesn't work after chatting with customer service twice and adding all of the APNs several times. They have "Escalated" my problem to technical support but that was a while back.
I had the MMS issue myself. Turns out it was a problem with Verizon and my S23 Ultra IMEI. I switched to a different phone, OnePlus12R and physical sim instead of Esim and my MMS works. They are getting Tmobile soon and they are giving me free hotspot until they can switch over to Tmobile.

I am getting 360mbps down with infimobile. 20GB plan. Human support all indications are India. I did have my 5g service cut off once and they had it working again the next morning without another issue again. 20G per month plan. Paid $340 for 24 months with the one year free and 15% off promo. ($14.15 mo.)

I tried the esim checker, didn't really help. Not sure if it allows esim for iphone only or iphone + android. Most MVNOs seem like iphone only

The data alone seems like a reasonable rate? IE, can I

1. Generate a new number via infimobile.
2. Convert to esim on Galaxy S22
3. Use my actual number via physical sim and set up data via esim in phone settings.

That way, you get the data and no need to bother porting in and out of infimobile service.

Thank you, that works for me. I've got just over a month left on a Mint intro and don't want to re-up at $40/month. It has been great for two months though - T-Mobile service is much better here than when I last used it 3+ years ago, so another TM MVNO should be fine for me. 20GB/mo will do.

If you travel internationally a lot (more than 6 times per year), perhaps you should consider Google Fi instead.
Google Fi is just not a good deal. I travel internationally a lot, and I always buy esims from Nomad, GigSky, or Global Yo. I've been paying roughly $1/GB in Asia and Latin America. That's one tenth of the price of Google Fi and the only minor inconvenience is downloading an additional app and esim.

I was able to get the 6 month 5GB/month infimobile SIM for just $20 by applying a 50% off coupon.
