don't expect much from those warranties, they will still cost you the price of the compressor they just disguise it as other fees.
Tech is came last week with New Compressor but also needed to replace the coil, he did not have New coil so coming tomorrow to replace both.

Does Samsung have a similar program as Mine has stopped working in 2 1/2 years... it is still under warranty from Citicards/Costco but checking for the future.

You need to read through your manual where it specifically tells you what's covered and for how long. 5 years covers the entire sealed system, 7 covers parts, not labor 10 covers only the compressor cost. You got lucky you only got charged 480, or you got duped again, considering they've been out 10 times.
You have a 5 year sealed system warranty that covers parts and labor. Make sure you have the receipt handy incase they want to verify purchase date. Call samsung to have a tech come check it out.
What significant issues?
Other than that no issues with the fridge. Ice/water still works. We never used the bottom ice maker, and over the years of people putting stuff in there and forcing it shut basically sheared off the light and the ice maker body. Literally sheared off. Unit still works find though.
Both your issues are the drain in the fridge section freezing up causing water to overflow into the fridge section. Look up 'samsung water leakage kit' you may need a heat trace as well, depends on where the ice is building up.
I figured that out and even discovered that there was a "fix" however it wasn't that big a deal for me to take the fridge apart. As I said, after we moved I haven't had the issue at all.
