Yeah, I know these pizzas were on sale a year ago for ~$4 each. But groceries are expensive, and I figure that since Walgreens is cheaper than Sam's Club right now, it's a deal worth posting. Hope this deal helps someone.

I like these but I try to avoid buying Nestle products.

Serious question does anyone ever have a problem with the rising crust ones being too doughy when you cook them? I don't have an issue with the croissant crust or thin.. but I feel like every time I cook one of these bad boys the dough doesn't feel all the way cooked.. tired regular oven, toaster oven… nada
Cold oven, TOP rack, set oven temperature to 400°.
Come back in 20 minutes, done

Dominoes is cheaper and sometimes you might get lucky with a free medium pizza when you do a carside pickup and they don't get the pizza to you within 2 minutes
They included a 2 min. guarantee? How do you prove it? Does everyone have the stopwatch app ready to use on their phones?

I have this issue, but only with some brands (digiorno being one of them).

BTW Safeway has their in-house brand on sale often for $3. I find it to be quite tasty. And no problem with soggy dough even with rising crust.

I like the safeway brand ones more than the kroger ones.

I put my pizza on the center oven rack, not the top rack. I haven't had issues, pizza turns out fine.

Does anyone actually enjoy Digiorno's pizza?
I personally found Safeway pizza to be better than the Digiorno's.

pretty frequently I seem to be able to get these for $3.99 each from kroger. usually you have to clip a digital coupon but yeah, i just stock up and buy four or five whenever that happens, usually lasts me a couple months and then they'll be on sale again.

used to be a rising crust fan because you get the most pizza per dollar (~30-32 ounces) but i've realized i like the digiorno thin crust way more. deciding to deprioritize getting the most pizza for the money and instead getting the better balanced and thus more enjoyable pizza has been a good move. plus the quantity (or at least ratio) of toppings seems to be better on the thin crust, plus the crust/dough cooks better/more thoroughly.

I've found this happens ever since they switched to the new "bag" inside. If the bag has air in it, it will be doughy. If well vacuum sealed, comes out fine.

This is why I'll trade the 10% off and opt for just picking them out myself in the store, you can tell by squeezing the box or opening one corner whether the bag is air free or not. I'd say 50% or more of them have air in the bags and will not cook right. Not sure if it means it wasn't sealed at the factory well or if it means it thawed at some point and re-froze.

Was never a problem before until they switched to the thinner bag a year or two ago.
