I have this mouse and experienced scroll wheel issues. I finally got tired of it after trying to fix it and replaced the mouse with a Logitech G600 from ebay.

I'd be interested in a mouse that uses the magnetic switches, and a magnetic scroll wheel, and some magnetic extra buttons. I'm not MLG pro gamer to use more than one or two extra buttons though...

They finally did it, those maniacs. They stopped production of the best mouse ever created.

I only have one backup in my closet Frown

I use MMO mice for productivity (programming & text editing) and so far none of them has been perfect.
  • Logitech G600: Discontinued, no media key remapping (volume up, down, etc.), cannot scroll horizontally even if it's physically supported by the scroll wheel.
  • EVGA X15: Discontinued, flaky software (key binding sometimes get overwritten). It previously didn't support combo key (Ctrl + C, etc.) but the latest software finally fixed it. The scroll wheel is prone to fail just like this Corsair, but is replaceable without soldering once opened.
  • Razer Naga V2 Hyperspeed: Cannot remap any key combination that involves the Windows key. No hardware macro, any macro sequence requires Razer Synapse software installed.
  • Logitech G604: Too few (6) side buttons, the switches have double-click issue and the mouse is extra hard to take apart. Probably also discontinued.
  • Redragon M990: no G-Shift feature, no left or right scrolling. The PC software lacks maintenance and can be hard to get.

121 grams. They really need to come out with a light weight version.

I fell in love with this mouse so much that I gave it a pass after the scroll wheel had issues the first time and bought another.

When the second had the issue, I took it apart and did the fixes in the first post. It worked, but only for a few months before I'd have to repeat.

TL;DR: no maintenance > comfort > buttons for me. Ended up with a Razer Basilisk v3.

I also came from Corsair mouse to basilisk. The feel of the razer has a better form factor on my hands than the Corsair.

I will defend the G600 until the day I die.
There is no better mouse. If I see them on sale, I buy them.

However, every 👏 single 👏 one 👏 that I've had gets the same exact double click issue eventually. If you have a G600, it WILL get double click.

The last one I warrantied several months ago was replaced with a different Logitech mouse because the support person told me they no longer have them.

There are fixes for the double click issue but not sure how well they work.

Still, I won't use any other mouse. The third "shift" button doubles your mouse buttons. No one else does that.

I have been using this mouse (wired version) for a long time. Not sure what is messing up the scroll wheel for others, but I'm a heavy mmo and FPS player and have never had a single issue with this mouse. I spend hours scrolling the wheel on webpages and online content and it has worked flawlessly. I'm in for a back up though in case it does finally die. This has the perfect weight and the fact you can move the numerical keypad back and forward is nice over other mmo mice that force you to get used to the location of the buttons. My only complaint is the mapping software can suck sometimes and not load your profiles, but its usually an easy fix if it does happen. Redragon was better for that aspect as I did not need to use software to map the numerical keys.

Currently using a Redragon M913 that I have had about 2 years or so. Wireless, or can be used wired. Battery usually lasts about 2 weeks before needing a charge, and even then I just plug it in for a while and use it as a wired mouse as it charges.

I also use the software daily for macros. It is not required to use the mouse for all of the keys, they work by default. If you do install it is a tiny program that give you macros, profiles, battery %, and customization over lighting if you use it. Plus it is USB dongle that has a faster response than bluetooth and works in BIOS, just like a wired mouse.

Not sure what your complaints are. This model is like $43 on Amazon and I know goes on sale in the mid 30's.

Fun fact about computer mouses... almost all of them on the market use the same click actuator. What causes the double-click issue is the is the plastic part of the mouse that forms a nub to press down the actuator. Tiny shavings come off from wear, get into it and cause the issue. Or the plastic on the nub wears down so it doesn't fully activate.

Sometimes you can open it up and slowly put a drop of rubbing alcohol into it over and over to flush it out. But because of the plastic they use it will eventually return. I had two G600's go out the same way. If you can solder, you can order the actuator and replace it.
