These are much better clubs in the game improvement category versus Costco's max game improvement (beginner golfers). A beginner golfer would be totally fine with a set like this and would be happier long-term. Not sure about the high draw aspect.

These are super game improvement irons vs the Callaway Edge set are just normal game improvement irons. Super = really fat iron heads that borderline on hybrids to help people with low swing speed or bad contact get the ball in the air much easier.

If you're newer and hit a generic 7 iron <125y on good contact, these will probably help you. Otherwise the Costco set is a better fit/value (or go with the normal TM Stealth irons if you want a premium normal game improvement offering).

If you plan on playing often and getting into Golf, the Callaway set is the way to go since you can grow into it as you get better. It is inexpensive enough (compared to other complete sets) that as you get better, you can start replacing clubs in the Edge set.

If you plan on playing only a few times a year, the TaylorMade set posted here is a better idea. The Stealth set would probably have better results quicker because it has maximum forgiveness and a draw bias. Still, super game improvement clubs have somewhat of a cap on how much you can improve with them, and the draw bias can engrave poor habits since you can get used to having that draw on your shots that wouldn't necessarily be there on sets that don't have the draw bias.

I'd beg to differ, the absolute reverse is true....

Is this better than the Wilson D9 forged set that was recently posted?

This targets a different golfer than the Wilson D9 Forged set. The Wilson's are 'players distance' clubs, generally for experienced golfers with single digit handicaps. This Taylormade set is for the opposite type of golfer. It's for beginners and/or golfers who struggle to hit the ball consistently.

In general, women's clubs have lighter and shorter shafts.

I am a massive fan of TaylorMade and would greatly appreciate some feedback on this. I began playing with a gifted set of blades in the early 2000's. I used that set until I was gifted a brand new set of RAC OS clubs on my birthday in 2006. I have played with that set for 17 years and would like to cut them down to be a full set for my son to play with. That gives me the ability to finally get a new set of Taylor Made clubs and I have zero idea which ones to get. That set of RAC OS clubs launched in 2004, so clearly any set in the past decade would be a major upgrade. Just wonderfing if this is the set to go for or if I should looks to one of the other year's sets? Thank you in advance!
