Question for anyone who keeps this card after the first year payoff, what keeps you paying that stiff fee other than forgetting to cancel or protecting your FICO score?
Travel insurance.
In my experience, 1 week of coverage for a family of 3 with benefits similar to what Sapphire Reserve gives me is worth somewhere around $150 or more, plus if I'm renting a car I can decline CDW.
This, plus the $300 annual travel credit makes the card break even for me with 1 annual family vacation.
All other card benefits are substantial enough that I'm comfortable saying that the card is a very big net positive without a spreadsheet

Is there any way we can check when we last had CSP card, I believe the last time I had CSR was about 4 years ago 🤔
Could've sworn it was 120k in 2019 but maybe it was also 100k during that time. Consumers are getting weak according to lots of earning reports this season. I wonder if they'll bring back higher offers later this year.
