Already had another Move 1, couldn't pass this up as in stereo pair the Move 2 doesn't really move the needle enough. Fantastic deal as I get a case for traveling as well!

Thoughts on this vs Move 2? What about 2 x Move 1 vs 1 x Move 2 (with this deal, it's only $50-100 more for two gen 1s)?

Yep, great Mother's Day present for the wife. She's using an old bulky Bluetooth speaker for the pool with a half working proprietary charger. This should solve that problem Smilie

I certainly wouldn't keep them outside when not in use, but they're amazing outdoor speakers.

The Move 2 plays stereo and doesn't down convert to mono. Not enough of a sound quality difference to justify $200 more IMO. These speakers sound great, and for $249 it's a no brainer.

agreed. Just received mine. love the sound quality. I go for gen 1 for the price without ruling out google voice assistant.

As of 6/7 on clearance for now $199.97 in store, makes the deal sweeter now. YMMV on B&M inventory.
