I bought this PC with a 4070, 2TB SSD a few weeks ago for $1329. This is a reasonable deal. The processor is very energy efficient for people that run their PC a lot. 65 watt TDP is less than many laptops.

You save enough on these prebuilds at a good price that if you need to buy a higher quality replacement power supply in the future if the generic one fails it's not an issue. It's mostly all name brand parts. Mine came with an ASUS mobo, PNY graphics card, Kingston SSD, adata RAM. Ibuypower owns the company that makes the cases. It's got their own branded all-in-one cooler which is on the budget side but it works fine.

after using a Capital One Quicksilver promotion I got $200 off of the PC and it ended up being about $400 cheaper than if I bought the parts and built my own. My first pre-built computer in 34 years
This is a really good deal for someone that will utilize the 14700 F. Its almost as fast as a 13900k at multi-thread workloads. The 4060 ti 8gb is a good card that people trashed because of its price to value price point, but at this price its good enough.
Not sure why TDs. This is a Frontpage type of deal. High specs overall with the latest gen i7 CPU and the current gen midrange graphics.

For only $160 more, it beats the current Frontpage Dell XPS 8960 deal in RAM, SSD, PSU and CPU. And you get a non-proprietary, upgradeable chassis.

I bought this HP Victus from Costco for $1,000 [costco.com] under a month ago. I actually miss a bigger/see-through case (those RGBs, tho).

OPs would have a generation newer processor, better video card (ti vs. non-ti), DDR5 vs. DDR4, more latest generation USB ports, better and bigger case, etc. Not sure about PSU.

For someone who would use the horsepower for video editing/rendering moreso than gaming, worth the jump to OP's deal? I'm well within my return window with Costco. And I haven't done much "configuring" with the HP yet, so it's not like I'm "settled in".

I would love to buy a prebuilt PC with something similar to these specs but without all the RGB stuff, I feel like I grew out of it and it's annoying now. That's just me though!

I want like a sleeper PC

You can disable the RGB with the included software or through the BIOS:

That depends on the game, screen resolution, and FPS target.

The 4060Ti is reviewed as a mid-range 1080P card, primarily because most games these days are unoptimized ports and reviewers neglect the fact that the consoles do a lot of cheating to barely get close to 60FPS.

If your focus is on something like the latest Call of Duty, then 1080P with a mix of medium and a couple high settings will put you close to 60FPS.

Not sure but I got almost this same pc for $600 at Costco less than a week ago. It was a close out clearance. It has 2TB NVME SSD but 13700 cpu. Other specs are same.
Yours is a unicorn deal. Enjoy it. But it doesn't invalidate what I said about this particular configuration anyway.

I didn't see it on Amazon... so I dug around on Best Buy for this same model. It supposedly has a 600W PSU.

For the fans you can unplug the RGB cable from the motherboard or disable the lighting via software. The lighting on the CPU cooler is probably software-only but can also be turned off.

Ya I got the 8960. Kind of wish I had gotten this deal. Oh well

It looks like you can squeeze in several 2.5" or 3.5" SATA drives up front, as long as you don't plan on putting in an AIO radiator.

The motherboard should have an additional M.2 slot free.

If it were me, I'd replace the Kingston that comes with it for something faster and then make the Kingston the secondary drive.

With no additional software installed, cloning Windows takes about 5 minutes.
