The iPhone 11 is very old at this point, I wouldn't recommend anything older than the iPhone 12.

I had an iPhone 11 up until 2023 and the main issue was that the chip would get crazy hot. Battery was also affected by that

I was using an iPhone 11 like 6 months ago and it was behaving totally fine. Disagree that it's not usable right now, and the battery life will be right up there with the 12 whose battery life was natively poor.

Do you have pay for an additional 2 months before you can unlock it? Or can you just buy the phone with service for 1 month and then just wait 2 months and unlock it.

Making sure I understand... So do you just port your number somewhere else before the initial 30 days is up to avoid losing the number? And then just put the phone in a drawer for another month and it auto-unlocks and can be used anywhere after that?

Yes. You can't port unless you pay to unlock the GV number.

And yes AFTER 60 days it will be fully unlocked
