Now I"m worried that I received a text message with unlocking policy which led to Tracfone's unlocking policy stating it needs to be active for 12 months. Can anyone confirm this?

"For cellphones activated with new service on the Verizon network on or after November 23, 2021, at least sixty (60) days must have elapsed since the cellphone was activated. For any active cellphones, notification of the phone's unlock eligibility will be sent via SMS along with a link to the website where the unlock process can be accessed."
Btw, after the activation, can I remove the SIM and use the 1 month of service on a different phone? I don't feel like want to start using this right away.
