This game does have some points where it shows some age - but basically, don't get bogged down in the Hinterlands, or with the optional fetch quests in each area, and you'll get PLENTY of value for $5. With a couple caveats noted, it honestly holds up as a very good story and trespasser the DLC is excellent (Jaws of Hakkon/The Descent are less good).
Game was so amazing back in the day. Really loved it and spent so many hours playing. If you never experienced it, you'll find it still fun, even though it's a bit older. I'm currently hooked on Fallout 76, so no time to replay this one.

Echoing and expanding on this comment. This is a good game, which unfortunately has a lot of filler content. If your usual MO, playing RPGs, is to try to experience all of the content, then you'll want to take a different approach. There's tons of pointless fetch quests, which do nothing but waste your time. It's too bad because there's some good stuff in there too and it can be hard to tell what's worth your time and what's not.
I see this requires the EA App. Do you need to be online to play? Kind of regretting buying Battlefield from EA as I can't play the campaign unless I'm online when launching the game. Don't want to buy this and have the same issue.
How the heck do I use the code I just purchased? There are no instructions or links in the email they sent me. The only links are to xbox, playstation, and switch .
Is there any benefit to playing this on PC vs PS4. I haven't played any of the DA games, but I own the first 2 on PC. The third one I bought for PS4 years and years ago for super cheap, but I'm not sure if it's better to play the whole series on PC.

Definitely better on PC.
Dragon age Inquisition it's 30fps on PS4, also on PC you are able to install mods to improve many annoying things that the game has.

It should work if you go to the EA App (assuming you bought the PC Version) https://www.ea.com/redeem
