I really wish phone makers wouldn't use the curved edge screen gimmick anymore. I would already have bought one of these otherwise. I drop my phone way too much to take that risk.

I completely agree the 16/256 is much better than the 8/128

Just bought it a few days ago, delivering today - sure hope OnePlus honors their 14 day "Price Change Refund Policy" for the $100 trade-in (vs. my $50) without too much fuss.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank jin_hw

To highlight a bit of difference from the previous deal, this is 16GB RAM + 256GB Storage, previous one is 8GB + 128 GB. Not a big change, but it's still worth it.

Returns are processed smoothly. They may just refund the $50 IF he gets the right rep.

Any other coupons to sweeten the deal for those of us that have been out of skool for a few minutes?

Also, did I read that you don't actually have to send a phone off for the $100?

Not really its not like you can put a case over the screen. Stupid design choice imo one drop on the side and you're probably done. Great phone otherwise perhaps a bit too big.

You would hope but the curved part of the screen will absolutely be the weakest part of the phone. I would probably break it in a few months because I have a few conditions that affect my coordination, unfortunately and I drop things a lot. I always get a military grade case and not even an additional screen protector is going to protect this enough.
