I think the 100 count for $8.70 is a better deal.

Ibuprofen is metabolized by the liver. I had a liver transplant and cannot take ibuprofen for this reason.

Since I drink alcohol, I try to avoid acetaminophen since it's metabolized in the liver (as is alcohol). I usually just get ibuprofen since it's metablozied in the kidneys, so it gives my liver a break — especially if I have a hangover!
Why don't you just try to stop drinking? It will stop the hangovers for sure. Your liver and kidneys will thank you later. Plus, it will save you tons of money too. That a slickdeal on its own. Just a suggestion. Big Grin

Kirkland brand at Costco (non rapid release, of course) is currently on sale for $8 shipped for 1000 count. Do these rapid release ones actually work that much better?

If it's not maximum strength; what good is it? You're just gonna need to get more strength from another pill.

Just take one pill that's just shy of killing you and turn it back a notch. Problem solved and only one pill needed.

Strength and extra strength shouldn't even be a thing.

To piggy back off of this, are the 1000 count sold in stores? If so, anyone know what the price is in store?

Nsaids are far worse for your liver. Liver transplant family member here! The only thing they can take for pain is tylenol. They aren't allowed any NSAID's.
