Two units bought new have had no problems for years. Not sure what actually gets addressed during refurbishing process.

Update: Back again I guess, or I had a glitch the first time.
These units are great. Have 3 refurbs I got from Winix last year that have gone strong (I just need to replace their filters soon). Buying this for two other rooms.
