My dog likes to see the water and will not drink it if it's not fresh, I know, I know, but she is a loving family member.

Might as well attach a little bucket with rope at the top of this, your pet will be frustrated digging out the water, especially when the water gets a bit low. I think this design is horrible and that's why it's on sale.

Dogs like to be able to see what they're eating and drinking and can gag on the water if they don't see it right

Any comments on this deal? Reviwers claim it works, no more spills.

Good for dogs with wide faces? Doesn't look like the opening is large enough

I have been using Slopper Stopper bowls for years. It's a vaguely similar design (but really much better). Their website shows how they work. The dogs have had no trouble adjusting to it - and it does keep water splashing minimal.

I mean that's more than 10x more expensive than this deal...

Fair. I'm just saying the basic design concept is sound.

This design is similar to no-spill containers used for holding cutting oil for machinists. Been using them for ages and they work awesome.

My buddy's dog practically dips his head in when he drinks and soaks his face. Doesn't splash when drinking but leaves a stream of slobber. Water, extra food, and whatever else the dog has collected in his mouth when he leaves. Lol. Maybe this would help.

I don't see this working for cats. They like to lap up the water from the edge of the bowl so they don't get any up their nose.

Sounds like my dog... She dips her whole nose UNDER the water and blows bubbles while she's drinking. I'm thinking of giving this a try for the price!
