Looking for a recommendation. Need a new laptop for college and want the MacBook Air 15". I can get this one with AppleCare for $1,881 shipped after tax. Or I can get the M3 version with 16GB, and 512GB SSD also with AppleCare for $1,849 after tax from Costco. Dropping to 512MB but gaining M3 for $50 less. Not sure which one makes more sense…
Damn. I got 2 of them 15 inches.. I got M3s only because BB only had that model.. I was worried Im overspending until I got $400 trade-in for a 7 year old macbook from BB...LOL
What model did you trade in? Was it trade in promo?

I would go M3 if you can make us of the ray tracing capability. If not the M2 with bigger storage.
Just got the 14" m3 pro 18 512 for 1799 but was eyeing this first. The hdmi out / 2nd screen support is what pushed me to the 14. This is a good deal though.
Sold out now but today Walmart had refurb M2 13" MacBook Air 24GB, 2TB for $1550
Seller is 3rd Party (CTS Warehouse), but that price looks great. You have any concerns with the seller and it being used?
Walmart product description states "This product may be returned within 90 days for free return or replacement if you are not satisfied." Not sure what strings are attached there.
This is a really solid deal! I just don't want another 15" laptop, holding out for a deal on the 14". Been eying refurbs through Apple, using their card I can do 3% back and 12 month financing. Decisions decisions!
Refurbs at Apple do not qualify for 12 month financing

Wasn't 100% on it with the sellers rep but Walmart was backing the returns. It arrived today perfectly mint, iCloud signed out with the right specs. I don't think I could ask for a better Mac deal

What's the battery health % on your unit? You can find that within settings -> battery -> battery health. Also, do you know whether it's for a fact that you cannot purchase apple care on this if you're buying used from anywhere else outside of Apple's own refurbished store?

Can't speak for all of them but mines battery is Condition normal maximum capacity 96%. AppleCare is one thing I didn't think of until after buying. Walmart had a like 50$ 2year electronic warranty.
