No you are getting two more years of driver support. Water cooled is just another thing to worry about. Who wants a leaky card. I like to keep my old cards as back ups, my Vega 64 LC started leaking almost two years ago. Now it's just going to sit on a shelf.

Well you are also not the intended audience for this gpu so your opinion doesn't matter much. Not every deal is for you and you don't need to voice an opinion on every deal.
This is a deal for people that prefer to liquid cool for whatever reason it may be. It can be for visuals, a size constraint, or temps. You need to have a system built from the ground up for this card and it's not a slot-in. You may also not be adept at water cooling a system (or purchased bad parts) and that is why it leaked. It's an extra point of failure but it's not a guaranteed point of failure.

If you're doing P2B, you're going to get a lowball. They're a business after all and it needs to make monetary sense for them on the risks and logistics on buying and reselling the item. If you sell it yourself to another consumer, ebay I see prices at $450 but after fees and shipping, you'll probably see $380 (?). If you want net $450, you'll need to sell it for $530 (?) which probably isn't happening. If you live in a decently populated area, I've had good success from Facebook marketplace meet ups since there's no fees, you can probably get away with $450 there. Obviously look at other listings to get an idea what they are selling for in your area.

Tempted. Honestly with EK being a sh1tsjow and other waterblock manufacturers having ugly ones, I can see this being a deal. Personally I would pull the trigger at $400 with new midrange ones coming up this year

Sell it on eBay sold listings as of late show them going to 450-500 minus 13.5% for fees as usual that will be your best bet.
Meh deal. Regular price, and 6950xt have been on sale for like 520 and that was like 9 months ago. These cards are getting older and should be cheaper than this.

While I agree to a point this would be considered a premium product as is the red devil and even used sold listings on eBay are pretty high still for specific models. This isn't a basic bare bones model.

Dam that's bad depreciation for a 6950xt i hope you got it for a good deal to start with; for a 3 year old card I would of thought it would be at like $500 with might vram for people but these prices are just sad on reselling these days
If anything you shouldn't needed to upgrade to XTX though unless you really needed AMD and some RT accelerators; the power draw is too similar and uptick just wasn't that much on the top end in regards to value with what you had

honestly you're asking too much and getting mad at fair offers when current gens are about the same you can get the 7900 gre for the same price new...
