Original Instant Pot typically comes with a stainless steel pot. This one on sale is non-stick. I keep both types of pots around as I like to cook rice in the non-stick on occasion as it's easier to clean up afterwards. It's useful to have both to switch around depending on what you're cooking Smilie

For rice, I use a 1:1 water/rice ratio, stainless pot, 6 minute cook (the default rice button time is too long), shut off when finished, and allow it to release naturally. Perfect rice with no sticking at all and rice completely done. I have the ceramic pot, but I stopped using it once I figured this out. No need for a non-stick pot.

The extra pot is nice to have if I'm doing a main course in one pot and the rice in the other.

I have both, the ceramic is peeling, not good. Get the stainless, it's better.

It suppose to be NonStick. But it sticks bad than Stainless steel. We ended up returning it in the past.

I've had my 6 qt liner for 5 years and use it all the time, there's absolutely no peeling. I also have it in the 3 qt and the 8 qt too. Again, no peeling. Take better care and it won't get damaged. Wooden or silicone utensils ONLY.

IIRC some reviewers said some ceramic pots made by Instant Pot are fake on Amazon and coating dont last.

Tons of terrible chemicals, I would stay away. Huge health risks
