Why would you spend 1k on a laptop with only 8gb memory? If your use case doesn't demand it then might as well go with an older model and save money.

Is that memory issue on M2 fixed on M3? Where the 256gb HD is on one card and read/write is slow. It was said to get the 512gb on M2 because of that issue so it has two cards. The M1 had two cards for the 256gb version.
