I have seen 27" 1440p for just 20$ more. Heck i even saw a deal last week which was 130$ for a refurbished 32" 1440p 165hz monitor

I actually prefer a 24" in 2k resolution for office use. I can sit close to the monitor. With big monitors I have to move my head often or sit far which my cube does not have that space.

Nice deal, I'm posting this on a predecessor a couple gens old, a Lenovo L24Q-20 that is still going strong.

If you're in the market and like 23.8" 1440p (aka "2K" aka "QHD") monitors, which I do very much, you might consider the front page deal from a few days ago... deal thread

That one is $150 but does 90Hz, has a nice built in webcam/microphone, has a stand with height adjust and tilt/swivel/pivot, has USB-C power delivery, can daisy chain more monitors thru DisplayPort out, has ethernet passthru, and probably will have more accurate colors than this one. But it is 50% more expensive.

It's always surprised me the 23.8" QHD monitors aren't more popular. Microcenter stocks over 200 monitors and doesn't carry a single one!

27" monitors are too big for so many desks, and to settle for 1080p resolution on a 24" is just silly IMO.

I have been using the Thinkvision version of this monitor (S24q-10) for the last 3 years as a WFH monitor and it has been excellent, aside from the cheap stand. I prefer the 24 inch QHD form factor so this seems like a good deal especially with the additional 15% back via R cashback site and I just picked one up. Thank you OP!

The images look like it does. Also someone asked in the Q&A section on the site and here was the response:

Yes, the Lenovo L24q-35 23.8-inch QHD Monitor (66D1GCC1US) can be used with a VESA mount as the monitor does come with 100 x 100mm VESA Mount compatibility.

Please refer to this link below for complete specification:
https://psref.lenovo.com/syspool/...eet_EN.pdf

Hope that helps

that's a valid argument, but at what cost? you can't fit as much in the screen

I got this one at a much higher price long time ago. Decent quality and great for office work. There're not many options for 24 inch 2k monitor since most of them are 1080p at this size. Personally I feel it's the perfect side portrait monitor to pair with my 34 inch ultrawide. I tried the 27 inch 2k monitor but it's just too big as a secondary monitor.

SUPERB monitor! I have 3 of them in the older model (monitor is exactly the same, but the base is different) in a triple-monitor setup. Not one of them has a dead pixel and colors are very vibrant. My other set-up at home is a single HP 28" color-calibrated 4K but I always go to my triple-monitor setup because it's the sweet-spot for pixel density (I have it set to 100% scaling).

If I have this mount, do I need to get an adapter for this monitor?

If you have EPP you can get the HP monitor for $104. It's $124 EPP from HP and get $20 coupon for email sign up.
