Skip this as you'll likely need another trimmer or battery next Spring. If you have a small yard, get a corded Black & Decker, it will out power this thing and last for years. I found my limit of dealing with a cord at about 75 feet. If I couldn't reach everything I wanted to reach, I didn't bother with the trimmer. The next step is to the cheaper battery-powered brands with a full eco-system of tools: Hart, Ryobi, Kobalt, Craftsman.
