The stairs had hard inserts for each step, dog didnt like them. Took them out and now they will sit on the steps for fun.

I mean you're supposed to use every piece of information to make your decision, not just reviews. He also isn't wrong in this case, reviews are pretty poor for the product.
I personally have a review tax on photoshopped items and I would recommend everyone do the same. To elaborate what I mean, if there are two products, same price (verified with 3 camels) and same review score, one has photoshopped images, the other doesn't and the one that doesn't is 100% not a carbon copy of products with photoshop on it, I'm buying the product without photoshop. Even if the photoshopped product is rated 4.7 vs 4.5, I'm probably going to buy the non photoshopped product.
People that buy photoshopped products typically don't know and care the quality of the product they are getting and are more likely to review higher. Products with photoshop generally are just another product with a new logo slapped on it and not made by people that actually know and use the product themselves. It will have far less, on average, attention to detail on QOL even if the materials and quality are the same. If it's a photoshopped product, it's most likely trash that's on Temu for cheaper. How do I know the seller didn't do something sketchy with the Amazon product page and that's why the reviews are higher? I rarely ever buy photoshopped products.
