I have replaced a lot of batteries in various latitude models. It is the most accessible thing after getting the cover off so it shouldn't be too bad. Be very careful with your third party battery purchase if you don't get a genuine Dell. 80 to 90% of third party batteries lie about the actual capacity and the quality of the batteries I have never had one that came close to OEM in terms of performance.
If the battery says it's life is at 83% of original capacity I would keep it unless you're going to get a real Dell OEM battery to replace it. Third party batteries are rarely as good as an OEM battery at 80%.
Take my opinion with a grain of salt I have owned about 30 latitudes over 10 years for my business and replaced 10 to 20 batteries mostly with non OEM.
got Latitude 5320 touch highest specs. Great small machine for running Linux

I couldn't get the total lower than $300 with the coupon for 32 gb ram 512 gb hdd.
Also watched a video that says hdd writing speed is too slow compare to this specifications.
I got the 5320 touch 11th gen i5 for my sister last month and the battery life was at 83%, haven't replaced a battery in a laptop since the Yoga 3 pro from Lenovo but it shouldn't be too hard? My unit was in excellent condition, no scratches, and it did have the green FedEx yadi yada sticker on the bottom.

The regular 5420s are heavy for their size: 3 pounds 5 ounces. I can't imagine the Touch version is lighter.
The spec is great if you don't mind the extra weight. 11th gen Intel means Iris Xe graphics and better battery life, they charge by USB-C, they have HDMI2.0 output so 4K@60Hz works, and they still have a physical Ethernet jack.
As mentioned, this is a perpetual deal. Codes for other Dell models come and go, but this one seems to never expire.
The 5320 13 inch one weighs about 2.8 lbs. The version I got was 42Wh battery inside, 1185g7, 32GB ram, 512 SSD, touchscreen 99% sRGB, 300 nits
5420 has Ethernet port and weighs around 3.4 lbs, it can also have another SATA SSD if battery size is 42Wh
