Better than the $150 plan-only deal we have seen previously because $10 more gets you a usable phone. Phone has to be activated on Boost. After activation, Boost does not care what phone is used with this $150 plan. The Moto G Stylus 5G 2023 will unlock if your account is still active one year after phone activation.

Expect a T-Mobile sim. Buy a $10 At&t sim from Ebay if that network is preferred.

At the bottom of the page, they ask: Do you want to keep your existing phone number? ALWAYS select: "Yes. I will transfer it during activation." even if you want a new number.

Wiki from a previous deal that answers most questions should you not be familiar with Boost Mobile.

Q: What network does Boost Mobile use?
A:. Owner of Boost is Dish. They are trying to create their own network. That will take forever though. In the meanwhile, they are using both At&t and T-Mobile. For online deals, expect to receive a T-Mobile sim.

Q: Is there a trick to receive an At&t sim?
A: Although not likely to work, someone said entering 49619 as the zip code accomplishes this.
https://howardforums.com/showthre...st17259159

Q: If I receive a T-Mobile sim, can I use an already purchased At&t sim and activate the sim using this plan?
A: When ordering, check the box: "I will transfer it (existing number) during activation." Later on, log into your account activate this plan using the At&t sim .

Q: Where would I even get an At&t sim?
A: Not at big retailers like Amazon, Target, Walmart, or Best Buy. They all sell the T-Mobile one. You would need to go to a Boost retail store and asked them if they are willing to give or sell you an At&t sim.. Alternative is ebay. On ebay, search using something like the phrase: "This Will Give You Access To AT&T Network With This Sim Card By Boost Mobile".

Example. ebay item: 384858797184

Q: Should I pick: "Yes. I will transfer it during activation." OR "No. Give me a new number.?
A. Better to always select the the transfer option even if you want a new number as this delays activation. Boost will activate the sim if you select the new number option which means you lose service days while the sim is in transit. Also, should you wish to not use the sim Boost provided and use the At&t sim you acquired, you must use the At&t sim at time of activation. Boost cannot switch networks after activation.

Q: I want to port my number in but I still have a few months left with my other provider. Can I delay activation that long?
A: Because this deal includes a phone, the phone must be activated within 30 days of purchase.

Q: How will by package be delivered?
A: By UPS with no signature required.

Q: I received my sim from Boost. How do I tell if this is a T-Mobile or At&t sim?
A: T-Mobile sims come attached to a white or orange card whose ICCID number starts with 8901240 or 8901260. At&t sims come attached to a black card whose ICCID number starts with 8901410.

Q: I activated a T-Mobile sim but now I want to try the At&t one. Is it possible?
A: As I said before: directly NO. In order to switch networks after activation, you would have to port out, start a new account, port back in, and sign up for whatever plan is available at that moment.

Q: Can I get a new number now and then port in a different number sometime in the future after evaluating the service?
A: No.

Q: Boost sent me a T-Mobile sim as expected, but I did follow the instructions to select "Yes. I will transfer it during activation." when ordering. I also bought a Boost At&t sim. What do I do now?
A. Boost will have sent you via email instructions on how to access the account they created for you. You would need to first log into that account. Once logged in: on the top portion of the webpage, there should be wording that says something like: Your Line is Not Setup with a button nearby to click on to activate the sim. Click on the button and use the At&t sim. After the sim is activated, Boost will then give you the option of getting a new number or porting in your old number.

Q: I am not staying past 1 year. What do I need to do?
A. This deal from Boost actually consists of users buying 6 months at $25 per month and then getting 6 months for free. That should mean for month 13 if the user still has autopay enabled, Boost will charge $25 + tax each month until autopay is disabled. Since accounts with autopay disabled are normally charged $30 a month, I would suggest just leaving autopay enabled until the time comes to port out. Auto-pay settings can be found on their website and within the Boost One app.

If you plan on porting out, start the process at least a week before service ends.

Q: If after year 1, can I downgrade to a different, cheaper plan?
A: Log into your account maybe 10 or 11 months from now and see what options are available. I would suspect NO because the cheaper plans are usually for new users.

Q: I need the phone included in this Boost deal to be unlocked a year from now. How do I make sure my device gets unlocked?
A: Leave autopay enabled and pay the $25 + tax for month 13. Instead of using real money to pay for the 13th month, you could alternatively use any Boost coins that have been earned.

Q: Deal says new users only. How do I get around that?
A: Use an email address never associated with Boost.

Q: I am a active Boost user. Can I just switch to this plan easily?
A: No. You would need to port out and come back in with a new email address and account. Any unused Boost coins would be lost and if you have a Boost-locked phone, the 1 year service requirement to unlock it would be interrupted.

Q: What happens after I use 30gb for the month?
A: Throttle speed is 512kbps. This deal is more suited for those who almost never reach 30gb.

Q: I can get past the email check to place an order.
A: Disable ad-blocker, use a different browser, or go to the cart directly:
https://boostmobile.com/shop/buy/...:FS6Months

Q: What the heck is a Boost Coin?
A: Currency that can be used to pay off your Boost cellular service plan. Coins cannot be used to buy a phone. Five minutes of your time done everyday would yield about $11, $12, maybe $13+ (if you are lucky) a month off your bill. Less coins will be earned if there are glitches in the app. People who purchase this annual plan would not be able to use any of the coins earned until it is time to pay for year 2.

How to earn Boost Coins
1. Launch the Boost One app (log in if needed).
2. Spin wheel to see how many coins you win (99% time wheel lands on 5 coins).
3. Watch 5 video ads that last about 30 seconds each.
4. Set alarm on your phone for 24 hours later because that is earliest you can spin the next day.
5. Done for the day.

Q: What is the 9 month phone upgrade policy?
A: Boost usually allows users whose accounts are over 9 months old to buy one of the discounted subsidized phones you see on their website without purchasing a new line or upgrading their existing plan. Whether the 9 month upgrade rule will apply here is not known as Boost can make changes to their policies anytime they want. We will just have to wait and see.

Q: Is eSim supported on Boost Mobile?
A: eSim works only for newer Apple devices. Android not yet supported but planned for the future.

Q: Since I purchased a phone with the plan, am I required to use the phone a full year?
A: No. However you must activate the phone within 30 days of purchase. After activation is completed, you are free to do whatever you want with the Boost phone. If this account is still active 1 year from now, Boost will unlock the device.

Q: I do not see this deal advertised at Boost. How are people changing phones to add to the 1-year plan.
A: Official sale URL is:

h**ps://www.boostmobile.***/shop/buy/permalink/entry/?planId=DSHPUNL300M12&deviceId=SMA356UBL128&couponCode=HALFOFFONEYEAR&?intcid=HP:AF:Banner:A351/2OFFYEAR

By changing the deviceID, users can order a different phone provided you know the deviceID. Of course, the total pricing will be different depending on the phone. The Moto Edge+ 2023 will be $200 for just the phone. Add $200 to the $150 plan price, you will get $350.

Network depends on what sim Boost sends you. 99% of the time, users receive a T-Mobile sim. Those who want At&t have the option of buying a Boost At&t sim from Ebay for $10. When activating the plan: whatever network sim is used and what phone number is established on Boost at that time is final. There is no way to change network sim later on, nor is there a way of porting in a number afterwards.

Somebody previously asked Boost about unlocking a phone early since they paid for 1 year of service. Boost subsequently declined that request. No harm asking them again though.

For the $160 price which includes 1 year of service & a phone, the choices are either: the Motorola G Stylus 5G 2023, or the house brand Boost Celero 5G (non plus) 2024 made by Tinno.

I have been wanting to get out of Mint Mobile for 2 years.
Their price (mint mobile) is no longer hot deal.

If you want to buy this and flip the phone on eBay to recover the cost of the 1 year service, then buy Motorola G Stylus. I saw a lot of this phone selling on eBay to get back about $100 that includes a 13% selling fee & shipping fee.

Loved how thorough the community wiki for this deal is. One information I couldn't find is if there will be any trouble with phone unlock if I port out to a different carrier after 360 days or so? I would really appreciate some help with this.

Why risk losing the unlock, by quitting 5 days early? In fact, you should play the Coin game during the year to earn enough credit for a downgraded plan (monthly or 3months) after 365, so you can still be a customer on day 366 when you ask for the unlock.

This Boost offer consists of users buying 6 months of the $25 plan and getting 6 months free. This should mean that after 1 year, users are charged $25 + tax each month as long as autopay is enabled. Hence, the 13th month should cost $25 + tax. Is paying for the 13th month worth it to ensure the phone gets unlocked? That is your decision.

I corrected the wiki about what happens after year 1 and added more Q&A that I had forgotten to include during the last edit.

I just renewed a year at mint , I'm on the unnecessary plan they wanted 520$ to renew. I called asking for my pin and account number monday . My current plan ends 28th may. They asked why I'm switching , visible has 395 yearly. They beat it said we will give you your unnecessary plan for 369$. I bought it. I wish I seen this deal first . Long story short if you call mint before your renewal they will negotiate. I may call mint again . I believe this deal includes 30gigs a month . I could do dual sims physical and e sim 60 gigs in my current phone. Sell or even throw away this free phone.
Thanks for the heads up. I've been wanting to upgrade to the 60GB plan for a while now and prefer to stay on Mint T-mobile backend vs Verizon for reasons I want to keep on the "DL" (if you know, you know *wink wink*)

Hey guys, the EBAY AT&T boost SIM that is linked in the wiki says something about being expired and not usable online... Says you can only activate it by calling into customer service or going into a store.

How does that affect those of us who have already ordered the full year of service? Has anyone successfully activated with the eBay SIM? The black AT&T SIMs seem to be difficult to come by. It's really important that I be able to activate on the AT&T network and not T-Mobile.

As I said in the other thread, there is a post on reddit from someone who bought that ebay sim and activated the $150 promotional plan about a month ago. Boost retail stores would have the At&t sims for the same $10, but the dealing with retail stores is so unpredictable.

For anyone having an issue with their payment being rejected, try another card or Paypal.

for anyone wondering how to do the cashback, you need to be on a desktop. click the link from here and leave that window/tab open. then click the link from the cb site. then copy everything after the ? Including the ? from the url you clicked from the cb site and paste it to the end of the link on the original url you clicked from here and press enter. page will refresh, checkout like you normally would and cb site will register the purchase.

i did this on my phone the first time around and didnt get any credit, but just did it on my desktop and received the cb notification within a couple of hours. good luck!

*edit: i also paid with paypal on the first go around with my phone, maybe the redirection to the paypal site and back messed something up with the cb tracking, but paid by cc the second time on my desktop, maybe that was the difference vs. device used.

I have a question. When you said click the link on the CB site, you mean click on the link "Get up to $25 Cash Back". Then it goes to Boost Mobile and then copy everything starting from ? and paste it to the end of the link on the original URL.

They've been able to promote the $15 a month but as someone else pointed out they have $20 fees that are other people don't have, and that $15 is technically an introductory rate that goes up to 25 once your first thing is up.

More than that though they have stopped doing a lot of the really exciting deal. I used to do buy three get three once a year and get 6 months of mint mobile. Now they only do the by three get three directly through mint Mobile so you can't buy a card

It was like e sim him only or something and it was very limited
Mint Mobile had a deal where they gave out a pixel 7 or 7A very cheap a couple years ago.

Also have the occasional best buy 3+3 deals that stack with other offers.

Now its barely worth using.

What I am meant is:

1. Copy the following into Notepad or some other text editor.

h**ps://www.boostmobile.***/shop/buy/permalink/entry/?planId=DSHPUNL300M12&deviceId=MT23151BK128&couponCode=HALFOFFONEYEAR&?intcid=HP:AF:Banner:A351/2OFFYEAR

2. Replace the ** with tt
3. Replace the *** with com
4. Copy this now-proper URL into the system clipboard CTRL-C
5. Open any browser window.
6. Log into the cashback site and select the Boost Mobile offer.
7. Once your browser is somewhere on Boostmobile.com, paste the proper URL into the address bar and hit ENTER.

I am saying to see if the cashback site gives you credit for this transaction by manually typing in the URL. It could however be that you are not able to tell whether they do or not until after placing the order.

Correct, I got the Pixel 7 pro deal from Mint November. I flipped the phone on eBay and kept the 1 year service. Total earned $60 profit with 1 year 15gb free service from Mint.

I already ordered and did exactly what you said in another post. I did not follow the instructions on this post. Anyway, hopefully they credit me $25 and I haven't received any message from topcashbacks
