FYI, there is no way that this ever sold for $95
I had a king Kong one that made it 4 years, just ordered a new one, it was also $40.
I can vouch for the King Kong cover as well. I went through a few covers from Amazon before trying King Kong and it's still going strong after 5+ years.

I'm in TX and I stopped using grill covers because they were a magnet for all manners of stingy flying insects. So many times I would pop the cover off to fire up the grill and a bunch of hornets come flying out at me.

So now I just keep it under the awning, and if the weather gets super bad I'll roll it into the garage.

The walmart one is not sold by walmart. So there may be an issue with the 3 year warranty.

Fwiw I've been really happy with the "Unicook" brand cover I got on Amazon which runs for about $22 - $30 depending on size. I don't work for them or anything haha just 2 years in and still going strong - seems like a quality fabric, etc. I can confirm it does not say "Weber" like this one does - so how will the neighbors know it's covering such a nice grill?? Big Grin

Not sure what the rule on links is per se but uh - been happy with this so far:

Same here. Got it on a lightning deal for about $32. Contemplating getting this as the Kong has a few tears and has faded in the hot central Florida sun.

I've tried 3 different covers that were cheap because there was no way I was spending $95 on one. They all got torn to shreds. Will this one actually hold up?
No. These Weber covers are pretty awful. I went through two in two years. I bought a "Texas Grill Cover" in 2021 and still going strong even though they're not on Amazon anymore. I'm in Ohio and keep my Spirit grill outside in the winter.

Would definitely go generic over these.

Seriously, how long do these last @ $40 knowing it's being hammered by the sun & weather??

I've had this on my grill which has been outside in Ohio weather/sun for the past 3 years and it's held up perfectly. It's never come close to blowing off and it's kept my grill looking as good as new. It looks like it was about $55 when I bought it in 2021.

I see some people saying quite the opposite, but for me it's been great.

Here are a couple images I just took of it. It's a bit dirty, but hopefully it helps...

I've had a Weber cover on my Genesis II 3 burner and it's held up to Houston weather for several years. One of the velcro has worn off the straps, but the material itself is still pliable.

Mine has a small tear and one Velcro strap has torn in 8 yrs. It has held up incredibly well, especially considering the strong UV in Colorado. Cheap patio furniture covers were brittle and shredded in less than 2 years.

Mine is now 10 years old in harsh northeastern weather of deep snow and freeze all winter, heavy rains all spring, and fairly nonstop sun in the summer. It's only just gotten torn up enough this year to warrant replacing.

Like others have mentioned, it faded after the first 2-3 years but I didn't care about that. The Velcro straps are less effective somewhere around years 3-5, but I found that I just wrapped them around each other to add some friction and then velcroed the remaining "ears" from that. Worked well in all but the highest winds.

I'll replace because of this deal and the new cover will likely outlast the grill.
