I own the mid-tier model of this hose reel, and it's prob the best out there for the price. The hose length rating is for a normal "thin" garden hose. So if you are using a commercial or thick garden hose, expect to get about 50%-60% of the capacity since they are much thicker. I would caution that if your connect has one of those metal spring spirals or four in thick plastic sleeve to prevent crinkling, that hose will not work. The connector would stick out and not reel in correctly. Watch a YT video on the assembly. It's very sturdy, and worth the money, but it's built for regular garden hoses without various anti-crinkle features. If you do get this, I recommend getting a few sets of quick releases... you put that on the water facets, hose connector to the faucet, it makes life a lot easier if you want to move to different locations. Same if you have different sprayer heads or connect to a pressure washer.

Just bought the 200' version a couple weeks ago for $10 more. The build quality of these is amazing

funny that they advertise it being "aluminum" however the aluminum appears to be held together with PLASTIC! In fact, I see a lot of plastic parts on this. Maybe the plastic used is heavier and can withstand some abuse and harsh winters?

Was looking into the Gorilla GRC-250G since last summer. But, the hose reel cart never went on sale.

Is the bit of hose that attaches to the valve 1/2" or 3/4"? I've been trying to find a cart that doesn't restrict water flow to my 3/4" hose foreverrrrr

EDIT: looks like the leader hose is 5/8, but the nozzle it connects to seems very restrictive? Is that just the angle of the picture?

Does anyone use this with hot water? I'm assuming the little stub out hose it comes with can be replaced if needed?

That's not necessarily helpful as the picture shows the hose rolled over the reel as well. It has to be written somewhere or asking help from house who received it before to clarify

It's also listed in the post description,
* Kink-free with hose alignment, heavy-duty leader hose, and removable accessory tray

and it's listed in the description on the Walmart listing page, and if all of that fails you, a simple google search to the manufacturers website

Does anyone know if we can use this with a 2300 psi pressure washer?

So I'm looking at this, can someone explain why there are wheels on the cart if you don't wheel it to where you're going. It stays right next to the spigot and connects with the short hose. I thought it was going to work like the way a reel/outlet extension cord is, you just unwind and connect.

How would this compare to the Eley hose reels that seem to be popular (but very expensive)?

Two immediate reasons come to mind: 1) you may be moving the cart from front to back of house and connecting to the spigot there and 2) makes moving it for winter storage easier.

Me, I move mine in/out of storage every year.
