I own the mid-tier model of this hose reel, and it's prob the best out there for the price. The hose length rating is for a normal "thin" garden hose. So if you are using a commercial or thick garden hose, expect to get about 50%-60% of the capacity since they are much thicker. I would caution that if your connect has one of those metal spring spirals or four in thick plastic sleeve to prevent crinkling, that hose will not work. The connector would stick out and not reel in correctly. Watch a YT video on the assembly. It's very sturdy, and worth the money, but it's built for regular garden hoses without various anti-crinkle features. If you do get this, I recommend getting a few sets of quick releases... you put that on the water facets, hose connector to the faucet, it makes life a lot easier if you want to move to different locations. Same if you have different sprayer heads or connect to a pressure washer.

I bought an Eley Hose reel mount last Black Friday for 25% off.
This Gorilla is 18.75% off for the 225' version, and 16.67% off the 150' version. Yes I know it is much cheaper.
I won't need to move my hose reel around, and it will be used for a 50' Flexzilla hose.
The % off is not too convincing for me to get it.

This is my go to jam whenever I use a hose. Beat me to it.

Side note- my closest finger lake Seneca Lake has a fire boat - (some boats catch on fire, especially when they do the classic boat "parade"). Anyways, its name is "Boats N Hose" , which is pretty BA.

Confirming I price matched the one with the tray for $114. Didn't send link to Walmart, just said the item at HD and the price at Walmart and they had me order before the chat rep price matched retroactively.

I believe that is the wall mounted one. You need to drill that thing into your wall. It does look nice though if you don't want to move your hose from time to time.

Just price matched through HD chat. They requested the links to both the HD item and Walmart item but either they didn't care or didn't notice they were slightly different (looks and one letter difference in model number). I had to place the order first like you mentioned then gave them the order number and the provided a refund for the difference.

By the way, you can not do a price match through HD chat for an order that is in-store pickup. I originally did the order for in-store pickup to get it faster but thy said I needed to cancel and redo the order for shipping or ship to store to be able to do a price match.

Thank for the reply. That's kind of what I read on the reviews, rust and the connector spinning when reeling back in. I was going to give it a try and see if it was just user error and try to spray something on it to prevent rusting but decided to just grab this Gorilla one instead while it's on sale to not deal with all of that on the Sam's Club hose reel.

I guess it's YMMV and depends on the chat rep you get. I definitely thought I was not going to get it when they asked for a link to Walmart, thought they would double check the model number or at least see the pictured product looking a bit different.

Maybe try again and hopefully you get a different chat rep. Trying for other chat reps has worked with Best Buy price matches for others when the first one denies it.
