It's worth it for just Axiom Verge 1, if you haven't played it. It's the best Metroid game that's not a Metroid game. I kinda bounced off the second one, I finished it and never touched it again, but I've played the first one half a dozen times. It follows the 2D Metroid formula very closely, while being just different enough to be it's own thing. I also appreciate that it's not afraid to try something other than the fairly standard wall kick/air dash/double jump trinity. I really can't recommend it enough.

I remember when Humble Bundles were awesome, like 14 years ago.

Now it's like one good game thrown in with a bunch of random stuff they collected from Indie Gala.

I am so tired of this line, it's really getting old. They just had a sale for MAR10 day, $40 for several titles. They have other sales too, if you are paying attention. It is true that your not going to find first party games in the $5 bin, but stop acting like they never go on sale.

Some ignorant comments by the people expecting Metroid. Metroidvania is the name of the GENRE! Yes the genre was named after the Metroid and Castlevania series, but it's silly to expect Metroid or Castlevania simply because the bundle is named after the genre. Not to mention this is a pc Metroidvania bundle. It's silly to expect Metroid on PC unless Nintendo wakes up and realizes what a gold mine pc gaming would be for Nintendo. Until then, welcome to reality. This is a decent bundle if you're a fan of the Metroidvania genre.

As far as I'm aware, the last time Nintendo did a humble bundle was in 2016. It was all indie games for the Wii U & 3DS. Like Shantae, Freedom Planet, & Runbow. You'll be lucky to get a Nintendo AAA game for below $40, maybe on Black Friday.

The chances of what you're hoping for are virtually none.
