I applaud your persistence of using it 60-300 times instead of getting new battery but for me that's a bit on extreme side. One thing I learned from certain companies and products on Amazon is that they keep selling it until they start getting too many complaints about issues and switch to a different product and majority of the time won't stand behind their "warranty" terms either. Bought two of battery jumpers like these and for both within a year the listing page was gone, similar case with dash cams which I have already 3 that are not working properly and became ewaste instead.
It also shows capacity as 88.8 Ah which is big stretch for something that weighs 1.5 lbs including plastic and internals besides cells, it seems nowadays they try to claim as high as possible rating since I don't think most will check anyways. It's fairly easy to determine true capacity by running it down with constant discharge and noting the time it took to die.
The issue was that since the starter, battery, and alternator tested as passing ... I had to wait until one failed. Eventually, it was the battery. Took my car to AutoZone and O'Reilly's a total of maybe 6 times before the battery showed as bad. It is what it is. $30, and I have it fully charged for the next time I or someone else needs it. Sorry if you have had a bad experience, I think we can both have our own experiences, and both matter. Thanks for posting.
I placed an order myself - $50 seems like a great deal. I used the "late delivery" choice for Thursday, next week so I could get in on deal and *then* decide if I still wanted it. That said, I started really reading the reviews on this, and yikes... almost every good review is a Vine Customer Review for a free product. I looked at the Verified purchases that were NOT Vine freebies, and they weren't so good. Seemed consistent that the unit had a cheap feel to it, and the 4000A claim was overstated... it was not jumping cars/trucks that probably would get started with a better 2000A or 3000A battery jumper (I guess, think NOCO or Gooloo for ex - personally, I have a TopDon 2000A I got on a SD FP deal, and that thing has been great).

The above said, I think I'm going to cancel my order. $50 is a great price, but I'm starting to think it might be better spending $50 *towards* a better $60 - $70 unit. As somebody else said in an earlier post, who is actually verifying these Amperage claims? These generic Chinese brands have a habit of grossly overstating lumens on flashlights, for ex, so, I'm thinking this charger's 4000A claim is also probably vastly overstated from what I read. I even took a look at the NexPow 5000A charger... that thing should be amazing, right? Should start a Peterbilt... but, the reviews on the 5000A charger also had a bunch of people stating that it wouldn't start a bunch of different vehicles. The other thing I noticed, even though this is supposed to PD fast charge, there were a bunch of comments about slow charging and other comments about the battery losing charge too quickly. So, I just cancelled my order.

Any thoughts on this $25 Anker 100W charger to charge this starter? No mention of PD but reviews says it will super fast charge phones.

Just ordered! I had an older gooloo brand that was great but didn't have enough power to jump my f150. Apparently this one can handle that. I kept the gooloo brand in my car and it has saved me quite a few times and the charge lasted for months without use. Hopefully this one is similar but for $50 it's worth a try.

Weird I bought the 2000 one last month but now the listing is removed. It had over 47k reviews too.

😒 🤔

There's something I don't understand about these things: 4000A and they're using what, 12, maybe 10 gauge wire leads? How?

It's mostly gimmick that they use to sell it, in reality you can calculate the actual by using capacity of the cells inside but essentially they refer to "instant" power you get from it to crank the starter. It should be somewhere close to what regular car battery puts out maybe slightly over 800 Amps. These lithiums are good because the charge stays in cells for a lot longer than on lead type battery so less worry that next time you need to jump start something it won't have enough "juice". If they catch on fire though, they're much nastier to deal with than lead ones as well

Personally, I think it's a good idea to have one of these in your vehicle at all times. Your battery can be fine, but if you have a streak of a bunch of short trips, your battery may not have had enough time with the engine running to sufficiently charge. Then, without warning, you won't have enough battery to start your vehicle. It happens.

Times like those it's just nice to have peace of mind.

With that said, I have a Gooloo (thanks Project Farm) 4000A one that has worked perfectly for me on an older vehicle that doesn't get a ton of usage. It's got a V8 in it as well as a newish battery (maybe 1.5 years old?) but it just takes a TON of juice to get the thing started these days. Mix that in with short trips and the battery isn't always up to the task. The starter has saved us a few times because of that.

This one is definitely overkill for my other vehicle (4 cylinder) but for $53 and change all in, I doubt I could do better for a lesser one.

These have been a life saver. I have one (not this brand) in each car.

The Amazon page says it's rated for usage up to 140°F.

But is not clear what the high storage temperature is.

So yes, but if you want to truly be safe, maybe not in outside temps above 95°F (apparently the point where your inside temp could eventually reach 140°F.)

I wouldn't trust what is the thermal runaway for those battery, unless you want to have a burning car, but you can jump start one LOL
