I'm not sure how good these latest models are. Even the first generation was good. It could've gotten much much better, but the very next gen was worst then the previous.. not sure how things've progressed recently.

Once they get too old for these baby smartwatches, the Apple Watch will continue to be useful regardless, because its a full on smartwatch, that can be locked down, or not locked down
