I almost never comment. I bought this about 6 years ago for a similar price and it was a steal then!
It does okay in rain, pretty cozy for two, but the setup is literally extend and pull up. 30 sec put up and same to put away.

From my experience in scouting, design is not going to hold up to rain. No separate rainfly to keep separation between inside/outside layers and prevent condensation, not good ventilation (will get steamy) with only vents at the bottom, no vestibule area to cover entrance/exits.

I've had one of these for a year. Just gave it to a family member because they kept borrowing it. Its a great tent for 1 person or two that are good with getting close. So east to setup and break down! Definitely buying another.

You want 1) breathable and not waterproof tent roof 2)cover that with a waterproof rain fly. If not like this then better off getting a hammock. If the tent roof fabric is waterproof then vapor from the breathing of people in the tent will condense inside the tent in the roof fabric. Spit shower in the morning Smilie.

Judging from the reviews and others comments I went ahead and pulled the trigger. I've paid this much for a stupid Paw Patrol kids tent. We have expensive backpacking tents for legitimate camping outings, but even if we only set this up in my sons room or our living room for a rainy camping night indoors, it will be worth it.

For rain protection if we take it car camping outdoors, I'll likely just setup my large camping tarp as a rain fly for it. Nice find OP!

Bought one, it arrived with one of the plastic brackets mounted upside down, so you couldn't set up the tent and I had to disassemble the bracket and all three poles that were attached to it...then flip the bracket. Once re-assembled, tent was OK. However, the collapsible top pole would not collapse without extreme force. Perhaps I got the lemon, but this shows QC is non existent at the factory.
