Is there any shop vac that has 6+ HP but smaller in size?
For domestic use, the gallon size doesn't matter, but the suction power should be larger to pull the dirts/broken glass pieces from the corners. Basically it should be powerful enough to suck the hard dirts but still compact enough to store in a closet.
Hi,
I am a new home owner and the home has a garage, front and backyard and 2 stories. Would i need this and what's it's uses? I have a normal vacuum cleaner but need another one.
Yeah comes in handy to clean your car or small to reach spills. Or if you ever get leak on floor or a/c panel. I'm in Florida and every winter my a/c panel that holds the water gets flooded and leaks everywhere. Happens because I don't use my a/c for months and it's old.
Planning to slean the sump as i see some sludge. Would "4-Gallon Husky Poly Wet/Dry Vac" able to suck water with muddy content?
Sumps are bigger than you think. I cleaned out a sump last year. My 5gal vac was taking too long, so I rented a 20gal. It still took 1.5 hours and a bunch of dumps.
If you want to drain the sump efficiently, get a "trash pump." If you plan on using a vac for sump and other cleanups get a 16 gal at least.
it was $79 last week, I picked one up for dedicated miter saw dust collection with a cyclone. It's pretty good and takes bags like the rest of them, but no bags were included
The 16 gal. Husky seems to be the best deal of all of the offers. I wonder why it isn't front page. It's better than the RIGID unless you particularly want a smaller form factor.

These look like rebadged Vacmaster vacuums. I can't say for sure. But they make good wet/dry vacs as well as crappy cheap ones. Stick with Ridgid for a safer bet.
I bought a Hart/Vacmaster vacuum that looked similar and it was useless. Could not consciously sell it, had to give it away.
Contacted customer support because the 4 gal. was showing shipped, but FedEx never received the item. They ended up giving me a discount to $21.50 for the 6 gal. variant.
Im thinking about buying this to suck out the water from my washing machine. The lint trap is located on the bottom of my GE washer and its so smelly after a week or two. I suspect a tiny sock is stuck in there or something. The washer drain pain also makes it very difficult to set up something to collect the water when i open the trap. Therefore i think this might be the best solution to suck out the water every week or two. If anyone has any advice on how to get rid of the stinky smell on this washer would be greatly appreciated. Ive made sure the drain line isnt going too far down the pipe too but still i get the smelly water smell.
