Most places that have this circular saw have it down to $129. However, Ohio Power Tool includes a free Power Stack starter kit (DCBP034C ) with purchase. Shipping is free. This is not going to beat deals from a couple years ago, but as someone who has had their eye on this saw, I finally pulled the trigger. I tried to get HD to match so that I could pick it up, but they said they couldn't match the promo. This same deal has also been going in and out of stock at Blain's Fleet and Farm. Acme Tools includes the starter kit but it is $179.

2x4 materials is great... the blade maxes at about 1.75 depth. Use this to break down sheet goods and also for deckboards all the time... lighter than a normal CS and the "barrel grip" handle configuration makes holding against a square or fence simple!
Thanks for the info. I have some 2x4s and 2x6 that I need to cut.
If I had a reason for a second one and I could hold them in both hands like a modern day powered up Edward Scissorhands, I'd jump on it, but the one I have works wonderfully and I brag this tool up to everyone when I get to use it. The fact it has a blade brake is great too for setting up multiple cuts at a time quickly.

I'm not sure which version you have but I have the 60v worm style saw that I use almost daily and this is MUCH lighter.
Where is the link to farm and fleet?

Out of stock at Blain's.
Also, have them email you when it comes back in stock. Sometimes they will re-stock
Bonus is if you have to break down a lot of boxes each week like me this thing blows through so fast with no effort at all. I have the mini Rockwell that I usually use but it's a lot slower and more effort. Only downside is it does make a big mess. But it's worth it
