100% Polyester vs 100% cotton this is true.
But when they mix elastane in there the properties kinda change. It'll wick sweat better but the elastane makes the fabric stick to your skin when it becomes wet and then air can't pass through as easily to wick the sweat away. It also stretches the longer you wear it until you wash it again to shrink it back to the original shape.
Just what I experience with some of my elastane/polyester blend shirts. Mobility is why I like them, super stretchy compare to polyester and cotton shirts.
But it's all preference I suppose. Cotton for bedding and polyester for men's active wear.
They are in stock but a but more expensive for a 3pk and they wont honor the online deal. I bought mine on the app while checking when I saw stock was low on the app

I have 9 of these shirts that I wear daily as undershirts to work over the last year (all black) and have never had one rip or tear up in the dryer (normal mixed laundry load setting). Maybe you got a bad batch?
