Have a purple iPad Air and the color is just great! Sadly the case covers it up. I'd buy the purple again any day. It's subtle and breaks up the monotony of black, gray, and silver tech products.

Honestly I like my old iPad but for some reason it started getting slow and I don't think this is my perception. I'm talking here about watching YouTube and browsing Safari at the same time. So no, it's not like very slow but it annoys me when I switch tabs and websites take forever to load while watching videos. I still recommend everyone the 9th but it is not good for multitasking imo. I think the whole performance is related to battery health and my battery is in really bad condition.
My Air 3 is also noticeably annoyingly slow, just pressing an icon of an already loaded very frequently used program (like apple's ios mail client) it just drags to bring it to the screen. I force close all apps, then reboot, it's the same after rebooting. It has 8gb of 64gb free, so it isn't yet choking for storage space.

I used to hear people complain about updates slow down their iOS products and they said it was to force people to upgrade. I used to ignore as I had never seen it myself, except for this air 3…. Now I'm wondering.

Update regarding my pickup order. Walmart sent me notification about unavailable item but gave an option to ship for free. Estimated arrival time is Wednesday. I wonder if they are going to cancel or not. I'm assuming they gonna send one from a different location.

I'd say wait. I picked up a 10.5 iPad Pro which had 120hz at the time for $300 at Walmart in 2019. Apple still wants to sell a 60hz screen in 2024 for some reason.

The price can only go down now, not up.

Use the app for anyone having issues. Got a grey one. I'm not convinced I need it but if I sell my mini 6 for $200 seems like a good upgrade
Why would u sell mini 6 for so low? Not much of an upgrade other than screen size.

Agreed with this, I recently picked one up at this price and had to delete my stored music files coming from my old iPad with 128gb storage (I mainly use the iPad to sit around and browse websites/stream YouTube so it wasn't a huge deal)

That's tech. New tech comes out and price goes down. This is a good price if you want one now

if you price match with BestBuy, it might make it a better deal since you can trade in old iPad.
iPad 9th gen is $165. $235 to upgrade.

Update: BB would only price match it to $450. Strange. Never had luck with their price match chat, they always waste time transferring you over and over

350 for ipad 10th gen, bluetooth 5.2. 400 for this bluetooth 5.0, this has wide color
Gamut i guess vs rgb . Better processor. Is this worth 50 more dollars for a casual user? I dont know much about ipads, but what is processor intensive on them?

People think at WWDC Apple is going to introduce a drastic OS update for iPad. Outside a few apps you don't need an M2 for an iPad but Apple just put the M4 in the pros. The biggest advantage in mobile Apple products to spend more is get more Ram as that's going to prolong the life of the product with OS updates. The iPad Air M1 and M2 both have 8 GBs of ram. The M4 iPad Pros with 256 and 512 GB os storage also have 8GBS. I think 8GB is going to be a baseline for whatever OS Apple releases for the Air and Pro models. I can see a world where iPad OS splits in two for base iPads and the Air and Pro models.

No. I refuse to buy any pad with only 64GB in 2024.
