The "2 games" is not 100% valid. They give you 24 minutes per participant now, probably people taking too long to play and hogging a lane. So for 2 kids, you get 48 minutes to bowl. If I didn't have the family pass I could bowl 1 person could bowl for 24 additional minutes for $11. 2 people for $22 would have an additional $48 minutes. So if a husband and wife bowl ~4-5 times over the summer the family pass breaks even.
It's a great rainy day activity in the summer. Without the program hourly bowling rates at my bowling ally are $50 on the weekends (Friday-Sunday) with no pay-per-game play.

Oh, I recommend buying your own bowling shoes too, so you don't have to pay for rentals each time. I got some from Amazon Warehouse Deals [amazon.com] many years ago. Not sure if there are any good deals out there for bowling shoes. Maybe try eBay or Goodwill for used bowling shoes for less?
They have a mobile app that allows you to get the bowling coupons for each visit.
Back in my day, a line used to be $3. We also had to walk uphill to school, both ways.
It's worth it to find some bowling shoes for yourself, since you won't outgrow them. Depending on how often you go, it might be worth it to get shoes for your kids even though they'll only last the year.
I can't recommend this deal enough.
