Great deal! However, be aware that B&H won't accept returns once the box is opened.

No, unfortunately the 4070 has 4 different sku's and it can be tough to know/understand the hierarchy.
4070
4070 super
4070 ti
4070 ti super

This is a 4070 ti specifically in this deal. Biggest difference that most would mention is all 4070 (desktop) variants have 12 gbs vRAM except the 4070 ti super which has 16.

If you are looking for a similar machine/ price point with a 4070 ti super here is a deal I just posted. It's basically an extra ~$70 for the extra vram. Small ding on the CPU but a worthwhile trade off imo. https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/t/17495784

Nope I lucked out on that R16 price mistake so am all set. I did just TU your deal though, it is a great deal for a TI super imo...

Great deal! One concern is that it's a Legion T5 vs T7 of the other deal. I have heard T7 uses much better components than T5, including mobo, power, etc., which can be reflected from their original price. Do you know anything like this?

I'm trying to pick between the two. Lenovo has upto $100 off for first time orders which would bring it down to close to this deal.

Based on comparison shopping (including deals posted on SD), this should be $1399.

If you don't absolutely need this system right now, I'd keep looking.

Silly post pretending to be helpful (which is why you post no link)

Does anyone know the brand of the motherboard, RAM and SSD in these? On the B&H site their staff said those details have not been provided by the manufacturer.

I don't have this specific one but I do have the legion T7 34IAZ7 and the mobo is Lenovo, RAM and SSD is Samsung. Granted when buying units sometimes you can customize things or upgrade so it might change.

Picked this up last week since I did not want to build my own this time. Very happy with it so far. So much more quiet than my last rig.
What constitutes the cost of a prebuilt parts cost plus labor building it, if one has the ability to build their own, what are the benefit of buying a pre-built?

When buying pre-built the price of all the components may come out cheaper than if you sourced all the parts yourself and built it. The reasoning I believe is that these companies buy in bulk so they can get them at a cheaper price than you can at retail. That being said, these pre-built sometimes are built poorly (not enough airflow or cooling, cheaper parts, or components that do not work as well together, messy wiring etc). YMMV but sometimes you can source a bettter pre-built than one yourself...

With an HDMI port and 3x DisplayPort connections, it can accommodate up to 4x independent monitors at 120Hz. Although at 240Hz, it can only support 2x 4K monitors or 8K at 60Hz with DSC using DP or HDMI.

How does this power supply work? I see it's at the bottom of the case, but there are no air vents under the case in the pictures.

Rear of power supply is vented and heat rises so there are plenty of fans to move the heat out of the case.
