Do these run tight / short? The person I'm buying for is 5'8" and routinely wears slim tshirts and shirts (small or 14 & 1/2, 32/33). I've found some Gap polo S size to be oddly short and it looks weird. Thanks.

I can't speak for the shirts but I love the Gerry thin hiking pants. Wear them all the time at work and they're cheap. Even got a few pairs of the fleece lined ones for winter.

they run true to size - I'm long in the torso and they fit me well

It is so weird as i tried to just buy two and that should be for 9.95 but its showing full price of 19.95 even though on the product page it says "buy 2, save $10"

If you used the deal "buy 2, save $10" prior on let's say jeans or 32 degree undershirts, then you have used that Costco deal.
