I had to have a "New" MSI B550 board from Amazon replaced for an out-of-the-box issue - the first one I've had in 24 years regardless of brand. A year later, I bought a "Very Good" used Tomahawk for about this price. It did have me a bit worried (about "too many returns"), but it's been completely trouble free under the 65W of stress @ DDR4-3600 I can subject it to.

I'd look into the 5600g or 5700g if you don't play games. Even it is capable of 1080p lower settings in a lot of stuff.
Also I wouldn't even consider this unless you already have ddr4 and a AM4 CPU. Just save and go with a platform that isn't pretty much dead.
Moral is if you order this be prepared for Woot to have some crazy shipping lead times that are not correct. If you live in an area where packages are stolen this is something to note.
