I think it's similar to the old sauce from the well known brand.

Huy Fong is the OG. Everything else might not have the same fresh pepper taste.

Anyone tried this and compared?

Many are saying they prefer Underwood Ranches (the original Huy Fong pepper supplier) sauce as it tastes closest to the original formula that Huy Fong used to use

I picked up a bottle after I heard there might be another shortage and it really is not as red. It has more of a brown/red....brick color. I have a supply so I can gouge people on eBay when things are really bad for siracha lovers. Like those other f'ers were doing 6 months ago!!!

This. Huy Fong doesn't taste the same anymore. I got two bottles of Underwood Ranch on Amazon. Pricey, but definitely the closest thing to the original recipe.

I like it better than the rooster Sriracha.

The taste is not as peppery, less sweet, slightly less garlicky and a little bit more tangy.

Got the OG rooster sauce at Target yesterday. No need to buy this online.
