the refurbished OLEDs from DELL come with a 90-day limited warranty, should be written in the description

the new ones have a 3 year warranty on burn in

This is why I would always buy a new oled with full warranty.

I ordered one, thanks OP! For all you people complaining about the 90 day warranty I agree it should have at least been a year but in my experience I've never had a monitor or TV Die. My 2016 LG Oled is still going strong with zero burn in Smilie

I got one they are gorgeous. Huge improvement from ips, led. The 90 days would make me nervous, new ones being 3 years warranty comparatively... When i purchased i was able to add a cable for an extra 10 % off the entire order and it shipped 2 days late and they gave another $50 off the order due to the delay. So approx $170 off the $1200 retail(not inc tax) helped since spending over $1k for a monitor is hefty. Always some kind of promo or cryptic discount with Dell, i would pay new for that warranty although these are just fixed screens from their original poor shipping. As foolish as their original shipping was, can't deny they didn't fulfill the warranty and with controversies of customer service like asus i would want that confidence if there's an issue on an item over 1k that one is likely to use for years

I bought an Alienware qd OLED 34" off eBay a year ago, used no warranty no nothing from a liquidator, still no burn in or issues at all

A computer monitor and a TV have very different use cases. I wouldn't risk $800 for 90 day warranty, it's just a bit too much for too little.

Want a monitor like this, but not at $800. Wonder if it'll drop to under $500 in a few years which is more my price point.

If you're lucky you'll never have a problem but my AW38 had issues a year in and Dell did a straight swap for a new one.

I have this model and this thing is amazing. As far as picture quality for gaming. It's amazing. But yes good the Dell monitor update software and update as there are a few minor bugs they fixed. Also this monitor does not have an auxiliary output(sad I know) only way to get audio out is through ARC/EARC via hdmi. But I have a Bose 600 so it worked out for me. But might require you to use headphones if running a ps5 or Xbox.
A HDMi Audio extractor that does 4k120 is what I use also to fix this for my PS5. Though ultimately this was fixed using a Rodecaster Duo for me since the PS5 was able to output usb audio to it.

I love this monitor. It does do an annoying Dolby VIsion thing once in a while where you have to turn off the monitor to have it stop trying to sync and reset, but I think that's fixed via a patch I haven't done yet.

I'd like to go OLED as an upgrade to my Alienware 38" Ultra Wide. Really don't want to go with a smaller monitor at this point. Also really like the x1600 resolution vs 1440.
