Lenovo was nice enough to price match with the $1,250.99 item price. The items have different model numbers, but the only real difference is the ram configuration.
The long lead time is putting me off until I can at least see what might be around the corner in terms of memorial day deals elsewhere. Looks a great laptop.
When I go through the corporate shopping members website and use eCoupon SURPRISEOFFER it comes out at $1,242.99. That purchase amount would offer $37 in rewards that can be used towards a future purchase on the Lenovo store.
Make sure your buy accidental protection I waited to try to buy mine after I got my legion 9i set up and it was nowhere to be found to purchase when upgrading my warrenty
Are Legions good? Ive always had a great experience with Acer Predators (and can wait) but dont mind other options.
I got my Legion 5i pro over a week ago, first time I don't get a RoG laptop and I love it. Runs amazing, light enough, power supply is pretty big but at least it's flat.
Huge YMMV, but do try to check your Lenovo points. I had bought 3 P12 tablets for my kids and myself in Nov 23 and was rewarded some points. Was looking at using the points up (about $40 worth, which was already more than I was expecting). It looks like someone made a change in their rewards service calculation, and I received $1500 worth of points. Needless to say, I took advantage of it and got a new Legion Pro 5i for $1767, but with the points, I ended up paying $267.

Dang...this one or the Gen 8, 14", 7840HS, RTX 4060, OLED?
The 14" oled is really nice.... my son has been using it for 3 weeks... he upgraded from an Amd 3600 with gtx 1080.... the 4060 is definitely faster judging by fps counter in game.
I'd personally lean towards the crappier screen and 4070, but the oled is beautiful.
My son chose the oled /AMD 9 7940H/ 1TB SSD for $1,268.... he is thrilled with it.
A Canadian YouTuber posted a pretty comprehensive review video where he opened it up and upgraded it, I like the design. Was able to get it for 1163.42 after edu/first rep/military discount. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, I really did. Couldn't believe my eyes when I first realized it. Hopefully others here can try to use it before they shut it down.
