God bless Northern California. You're either rich and can afford a $50 steak, or you're the working poor and can barely afford your monthly rent.
It is not the pandemic anymore and wages definitely went up by 3% or more from the pandemic so why are we still expect to tip more?

If I try to boil water, I end up burning it
Looked at my last carryout email from there.
Kid's Sirloin $9.99

I take full credit for causing them to remove it from their menu. Sorry everyone.
The cheeseburger kids meal at Longhorn is pretty solid too, and it's $7.99 in my area. It's a lot bigger than I expected for a kids meal, probably about 1/4 lb.
You can also order a loaded baked potato as a side for $2.99. I often will order a kids meal for lunch and then an extra baked potato for dinner or lunch the next day. In my area the toppings come packaged individually so it stays relatively fresh.

So much easier to just go "well done" and keep it moving
I'm "converting" my kids from well done - that's what my wife orders in the rare instances she orders steak. Then they complain it's dry and tough. Well duh. Now my oldest (who really likes steak) orders medium.
