Thanks Deal Editor Discombobulated for sharing this deal
I put down 30 bags of the deep forest brown yesterday, and it is the nicest mulch I have ever used. It is uniform in size and the color is beautiful. Been doing mulch forever, and this is truly mice mulch. Going back for 30 more bags today.
It's standard for these Scotts bags - has been for years.
2 cubic feet is what Lowe's/HD's generic house brands typically come in. General consensus is this Scotts mulch is better stuff.

These mulch deals are all terrible. Do yourself a favor and just order a few yards (whatever you need) of quality bark mulch from your local landscape supply place - color is better and lasts longer and bark mulch doesn't attract pests like ants and termites. Around here it's ~$40 a cubic yard and if you need delivery it's only $50 or so.
Also if you have a well you don't want whatever these additives are to seep into your water.
Always a few posts like this. Mulch and delivery pricing are very location dependent. Around me, the absolute cheapest I can get a cubic yd is $40. I need 5.5 cu yds, but for the sake of argument assuming I could get a fraction of a yd, that costs me $220. Cheapest delivery is about $70, so $290+tax. This Lowes deal is $200 plus $80 delivery = $280 for the same volume. And for me, shoveling mulch into and out of a wheelbarrow is a huge PITA, I've done it, and it's much easier moving bags. Plus I can work as I please without having to worry about covering the pile for rain. You could argue quality, but this stuff is a notch above the cheapest and perfectly fine.
