This is the cheaper less powerful 716 model not the more powerful 717k with the dual brush roller not worth it IMO.
Same vac, different head, and based off the HD reviews, the dual roller isn't anything to write home about...

But then again these threads are filled with people believing HP batteries turn their green tools into red.

Congratulations... Marketing works.

While the PBLSV716 is a good deal, I'm waiting for a sale on the PBLSV719. It seems to outperform the PBLSV716 in almost all specs.
PBLSV716 or 717 vs. PBLSV719
Suction: Up to 75 IOW vs. 89 IOW
Noise: 73 db vs. 61 db
Air Watts: Up to 65 AW vs. 120 AW
Capacity: 0.8 L vs. 1 L
Weight: 5 lb vs. 6 lbs

Love the vac, it's fantastic. Forewarning - be mindful when emptying the canister, the rubber gasket in the bottom lid can come loose and you'll end up throwing it away by accident, therefore ruining the suction of the vac. Took me 2.5 months to get the OEM replacement, fortunately, I ordered 4 to have backups.

How is the vacuum compared to Dyson?

Probably how you'd expect a net $100 vacuum (Ryobi) to do compared to a $400 vacuum. Sarcasm aside it works well enough for me on hard surfaces. Much more efficient for quick cleanups than getting the corded shark vacuum out.

On a related note, i upgraded my Dyson stick Vac with the $20 Amazon Ryobi battery attachment and it works amazingly well. It goes forever and when it dies, I just swap it and keep going.

Thanks I got the vacuum. I also had a 15 off 100 in email when using home Depot card. Might be worth a check if you have their card.

Awesome deal if you need the nailer. It is great
Dumb question about nailers? Do you need to get different nailers for each guage or can this one nailer support multiple guages of nails?

Finally a deal on the Nailer. Jumping in. Does this work same as the "Hack" deals for Milwaukee?

My batteries are multiplying and are worse than rabbits. Could use the Nailer only.

Isn't that for the regular batteries though, not the HP ones?

Match the nails to the nailer. Failure to do so will almost always result in jamming.

I find 18ga to be more flexible than a 16/15ga nailer. all have their purposes but in a pinch I'd rather make due with an 18ga if I was limited to one

I want the vac but have Ryobi batteries and chargers coming out of my ears. Don't think I'll be able to do the two store hack deal so I'll end up with yet more batteries and charger.
Anyone know if this is a separate pre packaged batteries and charger item that I could potentially dump on CL as a one shot deal? I've had good luck with selling Ryobi stuff on CL especially if it's new condition.

Just hacked the hammer drill $83.75. FYI I was unable to cancel the battery when I had it set to deliver to home, but selected store pickup I was able to cancel the battery immediately after purchase.

Why wouldn't you be able to do the battery hack? The deal is literally designed for it. Based on the tools I have currently, given as gifts and sold, I've easily done it close to 100 times. If you want to dump on CL do each battery seperately and you might just cover the cost of the starter kit.
