Bosch makes great dishwashers but at the expense of making them more difficult to install then they need to be. Also not a fan of the top display "touch" controls or that the last few I installed for customers have the water inlet in the back with a bottom that extends to the floor making it very difficult to check for leaks after install. Plastic feet are also notoriously difficult to adjust

Costco also adds the extra year of warranty. Plus I believe their 800 model is the German made SHX78B75UC with a water softener built in which is usually only on the benchmark series.

I cannot recommend the Bosch 800 series dishwashers. Ours leaks rinse aid all over the dishes, the top (third) rack is absolutely useless with the under-powered top nozzle, and the drying system has failed on ours after about 3.5 years. Without the drying system, all cycles will fail with the E07 error code, regardless of dry setting. You can temporarily fix this by using a wet vac to suck the pooled water out of the right-side inlet. This fix lasts about 3-5 cycles.

Unfortunately, this dishwasher doesn't stand the test of time (<4 years).

I bought the cheap model a couple months ago and it's like my 6th dishwasher in the last 20 years. By far the best at cleaning. I didn't think the install was any different than the others TBH, not sure why the other commenter says it's more difficult. I had hardwired so I bought the adapter for the special plug it has and mounted it behind it, so if I keep buying Bosch I think it will be even easier next time.

Got this with $40 haulaway of my old unit. Going to remove it prior to delivery and have them take the old one away. This deal is available in the West McKinney store 75071.

Can you let me know what else you had to buy besides the washing unit? Thanks.

Go see this thing in person before buying. I was not impressed with the build quality. I mean it is not bad but LG felt better and more premium built. I bought a GE profile for $500 on sale and I can not be happier.

Just bought a dishwasher and was looking for stainless steel tub and grinder built in. Costco has a maytag with these two attributes for $500. Their price also includes delivery, installation and haul away. Was fairly seamless for me.

I replaced my Bosch with the lowest model Miele ($1,100 after rebate) and so far it rocks. Supposed to be more reliable - I hope so as the electronics fried in the Bosch after 6 years.

I am a regular mid aged girl who has has a hard time finding home repair individuals to do work on my home even licensed pro. this brings me to the installation fees on appliances that are discounted. this is how they make up the money with high fees . I have a Bosch dish washer. I love it and I have to tell you I decided to look under the sink and took a peek in the back of the dish washer and decided. I might be able to figure this out. I am here to tell you even the most un creative and un handy person can instal a dish washer. be empowered. and watch a You tube tutorial watch as many as you need they are all there for you. it takes under 30 min top. You see we are intimidated by doing things like this. when you find out how simplee it is you will become enlightened and want to learn how to do other things repairs and installations take your time read everything if you can not read have a friend read the manual for you.
think out side of the box if you are afraid of leaks there are products you can find at your local hard ware store that secure hose connections and what have you. you see this way you will be able to save a ton of money and up grade all appliances. I don't mean to discount the pro's they have their place for sure. the worst thing that could happen is that you will get wet and will have to have someone install it for probably the same amount . give it a try ...

Keep in mind this has a plug. In order to hardwire you need to install another bosch adapter under the kitchen sink. It will not fit properly in the dishwasher bay.

Other than that, amazing machine.

Make sure you measure the height and not just the width. I thought it was mainly the width. Bosch is taller than most other dishwashers. I ordered the 800 series from Costco and they came, and couldn't install it. I wanted the Bosch but ended up getting a KitchenAid.

Its not a piece of jewelry its a dishwasher. I can guarantee people throw out their dishwashers because they mechanically fail not that it has sparkles inlaid in the control panel. With that said Bosch is typically rated as the most reliable DW out there.

With GE you need to be careful because its owned by Haier now (China) so look at where it is made. Personally I would rather have a dw made in China before Mexico but that is personal preference as I have been in a lot of production facilities.

I know you did not just compare Bosch to LG and GE. This is the standard for dishwashers. It was between this and Kitchenaid 405 for me. Ended up getting the kitchenaid because it was $200 cheaper (from Costco). Cannot beat their "free" haul away and install honestly. Includes all parts needed as well.

If you install this yourself for $900 this is a great price. If you need a dishwasher this is the one you want.

I have the model under this. It's fantastic. The only thing I wish I had done is get the one with the top button controls. The buttons flash to the front and it drives me crazy.

Does anyone know if the sale is on just the stainless steel or can you get it in white with the same discount?

Got this price in Greenville SC. They had 190 in stock in the warehouse. Will be delivered 5/24. Delivery is free w a promo that ends 1st week of June. Was told this is Memorial Day pricing. Added five-year warranty for $180 as I just had problems with the KitchenAid dishwasher purchased a few years ago.
I live in Greenville too, but see it is only delivered for $1100 or 1200. How did you get free delivery?
