If you watch movies using Apple, just get the normal Mad Max: Fury Road 4K which goes on sale often enough (including Fanflix). Black & Chrome Edition is included in iTunes Extras.
Looking forward to Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga as well!
Early reviews point towards the likelihood of it being another hit from George Miller.
The original film had Australian accents. They did a dub for release in the US with American accents. I think the distinction may be that one version includes all of the various international dubs including the American one, while the other version only includes the original with the Australian accents.

Be forewarned that iTunes extras are not viewable on the AppleTV app and you must have an Apple device to watch.
Fury Road, Road Warrior and Thunderdome are also available in HDx for $2/each through Vudu Disc to Digital (no Black & Chrome though).
Also, while the others are available in 4k (for more money, of course), Black & Chrome apparently still peaks out at HD.
Thx for the info.
I think the sound on the Blu-ray for either version of the film is vastly superior so I'm waiting for the combo disc to go on sale sometime after the new film is out for a bit.
It's like night and day for me when I watch Blu rays vs streaming for the sound quality.
Picture isn't as big an improvement to me

But you're limited to viewing the Black & Chrome version in Apple TV or iTunes that way. So the question to ask is- would you rather have the regular version in 4K or have more viewing options for Black & Chrome?

I prefer to have the 4K colored version. The B&C is just not that important to own.

This guy isn't a movie buff. Caught him
And I truly loved it.
Anyone watch this on something? Experiences?
You can just watch regular version and turn down the color to zero. Jk

Link? I searched the app and only see the color 4k for $5
No black and chrome? Or is it special feature?
This just saved me like $15 - I was getting excited and about to jump on the deal (sd effect)
