beware folks, 2 times in the last 10 days I had to live chat with customer service, couldn't receive or send text messages saying basically I was spamming or that I had insufficient funds. When I asked live chat person why this continues to happen, they had no answer for me literally. You get what you pay for!!! I just activated a year card 2 weeks ago and this nonsense continuing to happen

$47.50 10GB 6 Month Infimobile Plan on Amazon ($7.92/month) (savings of 5%) https://a.co/d/23q27em

$66.50 20GB 6 Month Plan ($11.08/month) https://a.co/d/3gKWxb7

*SIM card must be activated within 60 days of purchase. Infimobile operates on the Verizon cellular network and does not have priority data. Hotspot is an extra $5/month.

no hotspot
Not a problem if you have a Pixel or rooted phone (preferably with something like LineageOS). Why we continue to allow telecoms to tell us what we can do with the data we pay for is beyond me.

Looking for a service for the kids phones. This one, usmobile, redpocket, trafone or boost?
I have had red pocket for years. Ebay runs sales a couple times a year.

I have my kids on the redpocket $30 annual plan. It's a lot cheaper than this plan… but the data per month is laughable… my kids burn through it and then texting via iMessage gets dicey once they run out of data.

The thought of switching and some of the comments here regarding customer service make me hesitant to change. But I'd be willing to pay the $100 annually (3+X more than redpocket plan) for the 10gb data plus throttled remained data.

Data should be 256kbs for the remaining of the cycle.
That's all I needed to see. That's completely useless in a modern environment. Might as well just boot you completely, which is what it seems like is actually happening. Guess I'm still stuck with T-Mobile.

Why do you need data at a music festival? Enjoy the music. Talk and text should work fine. Preload Google maps for the area.
I do enjoy the music. We're camping out for 6 nights at a 4 day festival so there's lots of non-concert time, I have a company to run (should be minimal but non-zero work), we stream music at camp, the fest app uses data, etc. Please don't judge, I know how to festival and have done this many times. We're not trying to go off grid. Talk and text do mostly work fine there. We'll have 4-5 teenagers with us too, and while they're excited for the shows, they're still teenagers in 2024, and I guarantee at least two of them will need a hotspot at some point because their janky data service is too janky and they need to facetime somebody. But thanks for the Google Maps tip, I've never traveled before LOL.

So does visible + …
Yep, just to expand... Visible+ ($35/mo, unlimited everything) gives the first 50gb of 5G on priority. Gets tiring on SD always seeing people praise US Mobile like they are the only MVNO worth using.

Just my personal experience i had no such issues. Number transferred from mint mobile in 20 mins.

Since i had physical SIM from amazon purchase i had to call in to switch to eSIM call was answered immediately and esim switched in 30 mins. This was on Saturday midnight.

I had another question called and picked up immediately.

Maybe there were some real issues with ur previous carrier in porting out ur number
I ported from Mint and it took 3 full days. The service was completely unavailable

I used infimobile abroad without any issues. Note however that I'm usually on WiFi calling. Outside of WiFi you may have troubles

Is it true Hotspot isn't included & if you want Hotspot, it's $5/month, bringing the total to $159(?)
